Mosiah 29:10-11 - "And now let us be wise... therefore I will be your king the remainder of my days; nevertheless, let us appoint judges, to judge this people according to our law..."
Alma 1:12 - "Behold Alma said unto him (Nehor): Behold, this is the first time that priestcraft has been introduced among this people. And behold thou art not only guilty of priesthocraft, but hast endeavored to enforce it by the sword; and were priesthcraft to be enforced among this people it would prove their entire destruction."
